Welcome to Kootenai Elementary!

On behalf of our students and staff I want to thank you for visiting our site. We are proud to be Pirates and excited by the accomplishments of our school community. It is fun to look back at the past few months and see all of the amazing things that have taken place. From our teachers and staff to parents and students we have the best school around!

Here are just a few of the many bright spots from this past year:

  • Kootenai School Awarded

    • Named a High Progress School by the Idaho State Department of Education for exemplary growth in student achievement.

  • Fall Festival

    • Our incredible PTA was able to raise money for the school as they put together the best harvest party I have ever seen. It seemed as though the entire Kootenai community gathered together for food, games, fun and a chance to dunk their teachers and principal.

  • Culture of Learning

    • Our students took huge strides toward their future success by working hard and growing academically every day!

  • Food Drive

    • The first grade put on a food drive that brought in over 2000 pounds of food for local families.

We canít wait to see what we will learn and accomplish during the 2014-2015 school year. We invite you to come into the school for a visit and to join us in preparing students for a successful future!

See you Soon,

Casey McLaughlin ††††

Principal
